ATL, the coming-of-age drama that premiered in 2006, showcased a realistic cast of characters that have since evolved in various ways. Here's a look at what the stars of ATL are up to, two decades later.


T.I. (as Rashad)
T.I. (as Rashad)

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., played the lead character Rashad. Since the film, he has continued to make waves in the music industry as a rapper, releasing several successful albums. He has also expanded his acting career, appearing in movies and TV shows like Ant-Man and House of Lies.



Beyond entertainment, T.I. has become a prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist, actively engaging in community and social justice initiatives. Today, T.I. is currently promoting his new single "Let 'Em Know" off his upcoming studio album Kill the King.


Lauren London (as New New)

Lauren London played Rashad's love interest. Since then she’s built a solid career with roles in movies like This Christmas and TV series such as The Game and Games People Play. She has also been involved in various advocacy efforts, particularly those supporting mental health awareness.



Today, Lauren London continues to focus on her personal peace and honoring the memory of her partner Nipsey Hussle. She continues to engage in spiritual, reflective work while honoring his legacy.


Evan Ross (as Ant)

Evan Ross, portrayed Rashad's younger brother Ant. Ross has continued to act in both film and television. His notable roles include parts in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay series and the TV show Star. Evan is also a musician and has released music both as a solo artist and in collaboration with his wife, Ashlee Simpson.



Today, Evan and Ashlee have two children. He is also the stepfather to Ashlee's son with ex-husband Pete Wentz. He recently featured his singing talents on the latest season of The Masked Singer on Fox.

Big Boi, one half of the iconic hip-hop duo OutKast, played Marcus. He has remained active in the music scene, releasing solo projects and collaborating with several artists throughout the years. In addition to his music career, Big Boi has ventured more into acting, appearing in projects like Superfly and The Quad.



Today, Big Boi is apart of the elite Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and continues to tour as a solo artist. He is also an entrepreneur owning the luxury trailer company Celebrity Trailers and Pitfall Kennels, a breeding facility for American Bullies and French Bulldogs.

Jackie Long, who brought Esquire to life, has continued his acting career with roles in films such as Idlewild and The Comebacks, as well as TV shows like Real Husbands of Hollywood. He remains active in the industry.



Today, Jackie and his partner, TikTok star Sloan Byrd, welcomed their first child together. He also is a cast member on the Showtime drama The Chi.

Jason Weaver aka Teddy, has maintained a career in both music and acting. He has appeared in numerous television shows and films. His most notable work as a singer, was providing the singing voice of Simba in Disney's The Lion King.



Today, Jason is a series regular on the hit show The Chi alongside his ATL co-star Jackie Long. He recently started a YouTube channel to share insights on entrepreneurship.

Albert Daniels, who played Brooklyn, continued to pursue a career in writing and directing. He appeared in TV movies Beats and The New Edition Story. He has worked on numerous independent projects over the years.



Today, he’s associated with upcoming projects such as After Hours: The Movie.

The Haqq twins, Khadijah and Malika, played Veda and Star. Since ATL, they have appeared in multiple film and television projects but are most known for their appearances on reality TV.



Today, the sisters have become mothers and also launched lifestyle brands. They remain active on social media and in the entertainment and fashion industries.



The cast of ATL have diverse and successful careers, showcasing their versatility and talent both on and off the screen.
